Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamid Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamarcus Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winters has chosen Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anubis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Winters is looking to sweep but instead, Anubis has passed into half guard.
Anubis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Winters's head.
Winters wants to control but Anubis is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Winters throws a sloppy head kick and Anubis moves out of range easily.

Anubis throws a strike but Winters rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Anubis keeping moving, preventing Winters from controlling successfully.
Anubis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Anubis has his hands on Winters's head, controlling the position.

Anubis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Anubis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Anubis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Anubis is trying to hold Winters in close to prevent damage but Winters has managed to pass into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Anubis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Anubis controls Winters momentarily but Winters frees himself.

Winters wants to control from the top but Anubis keeps moving.
Anubis has his foot on Winters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Winters works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anubis is on top in guard.
Anubis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Winters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anubis.
Winters controls Anubis momentarily but Anubis frees himself.
Winters is working an open guard so Anubis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Winters tries a head kick but it misses.
Winters throws a sloppy head kick and Anubis moves out of range easily.

Anubis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Anubis works his foot free and advances to mount.
Winters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anubis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Winters is looking to improve his position but Anubis isn't that keen on the idea.

Anubis wants to control the pace but Winters is squirming around nicely.
Anubis lands a big elbow.
Anubis working for a guillotine from mount but Winters is in no mood to give up.
Anubis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Winters can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Winters is trying to escape the mount.

Winters wants to hold on but Anubis pushes him away.
Anubis looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Anubis avoids the attempt from Winters to control.
Winters is trying to escape the mount.
Hamid Anubis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Anubis looking to isolate an arm here. Winters doesn't see it coming and as Anubis extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Anubis!
