Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larppa Lurppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Burleigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Larppa Lurppa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Burleigh! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burleigh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lurppa as he jumps to the side. Burleigh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lurppa has a takedown stuffed. Burleigh shoots in for a takedown but Lurppa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Larppa Lurppa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Burleigh. Burleigh throws a series of strikes that have Lurppa backpedaling.

Lurppa wants to clinch up but Burleigh keeps it at a distance. Burleigh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burleigh working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Lurppa manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lurppa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Burleigh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lurppa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burleigh throwing strikes but missing. Lurppa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lurppa is working hard here to advance position. Lurppa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burleigh defends it easily. Lurppa controls Burleigh momentarily but Burleigh frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burleigh working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lurppa's head. Lurppa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Burleigh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lurppa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lurppa has control of Burleigh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Burleigh regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lurppa looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Burleigh trying desperately to get to his feet.
Lurppa is in the full mount, landing strikes. Burleigh is bucking up trying to escape but Lurppa cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lurppa landing shots from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burleigh is looking to improve his position but Lurppa isn't that keen on the idea. Lurppa landing strikes from the mount. Lurppa landing strikes from the mount and Burleigh is in trouble! Lurppa putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Burleigh can't escape the position.
Lurppa landing shots from mount. Lurppa lands a nice shot to the head. Burleigh tries to hold on but Lurppa pushes him away. Poor strikes thrown by Lurppa there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Burleigh tries to hold on but Lurppa pushes him away. Lurppa prevents Burleigh from getting the reversal. Lurppa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Lurppa landing strikes, looking to finish! Burleigh takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burleigh has left one of his arms exposed and Lurppa doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Burleigh screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Larppa Lurppa! In his post fight interview, Larppa Lurppa started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
