Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stan Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alaric Visigoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is In Ashes They Shall Reap. Visigoth is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by THUNDERSTRUCK. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Visigoth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Visigoth takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Visigoth moves out of range of the leg kick from Richard.
Visigoth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richard tries to avoid it but Visigoth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richard to the ground. Richard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Visigoth moves out of range as Richard throws a body kick.
Richard throws a sloppy head kick and Visigoth moves out of range easily.
Richard throws a lazy right hand but Visigoth sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Visigoth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Richard misses with a combination
and Visigoth counters with a nice double leg into side control. Richard won't be happy with that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Visigoth tries to score with some ground and pound. Richard controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Stan Richard will probably get the nod.

Visigoth postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Richard looks a forlorn figure.

Visigoth avoids the attempt from Richard to control.
Visigoth is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Richard can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Richard really wants to buck Visigoth off and get back to his feet.

Visigoth cracks Richard with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
