Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bestigor Tazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tazar comes to the cage accompanied by Beastmaster's Fortress. Devin Couture told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tazar manages to get to full guard.
Tazar keeping full guard, as Couture tries to pass.
Couture wants to control from the top but Tazar keeps moving.
Tazar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Couture!
Tazar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Couture is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Couture is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Couture gets back to half guard.
Couture regains full guard. Nicely done.
Tazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tazar wants to control from the top but Couture keeps moving.
Tazar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Couture swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Couture is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tazar trying to control but Couture is working from the bottom.
Couture looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Couture wants to stand but Tazar is controlling the position.
Tazar forces his way into half guard.
Tazar trying to mount his opponent but Couture defends it.

Couture wants to improve his position but Tazar is controlling well.
Tazar wants to pass the guard but Couture is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Couture can do anything to dispel that myth.
Couture wants to get back to full guard but Tazar has passed into side control.
Couture sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Tazar moves nicely into side control.
Couture is looking to regain half guard here but Tazar keeps moving and retains side control.

Couture struggling a bit here.
Couture is trying to get back to half guard.
Couture is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tazar off and has taken his back!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tazar manages to reverse the position and now he's in Couture's guard. Nice work there by Tazar.
Tazar works a leg free and moves into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Devin Couture will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tazar throws a series of strikes that have Couture backpedaling.
Tazar stuffs the takedown attempt from Couture. Couture gets slowly back to his feet.
Couture tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tazar swivels and escapes.
Couture shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tazar as he jumps to the side.
Bestigor Tazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Couture.
Tazar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tazar cracks a nice hook into Couture's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tazar thows a body kick. Couture tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Devin Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tazar cracks Couture with a hook to the temple - Couture is on wobbly legs here! Tazar swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Couture falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tazar wins by TKO!
