Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mael misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bad Boy.
Bad Boy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mael will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Bad Boy thows a body shot but no joy.
Mael shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bad Boy's guard.
Mael should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mael trying to control but Bad Boy is working from the bottom.
Mael is pushing down on Bad Boy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bad Boy is fighting to maintain full guard but Mael has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bad Boy tries to roll over but Mael keeps him under control.
Mael wants to work for an arm triangle but Bad Boy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mael is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bad Boy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
