Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Kurtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bob Marley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Walter Kurtz! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurtz shoots for a takedown but Marley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Walter Kurtz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice leg kick lands there from Marley. Kurtz moves in looking to clinch but Marley pushes him off. Marley misses with a low kick. Kurtz throws a body kick that misses. Kurtz shoots in for a takedown but Marley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kurtz looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kurtz throws a right hand that Marley ducks under and follows up with a left that Marley also avoids with ease. Marley keeps Kurtz at a distance using the push kick. Kurtz stuffs the takedown attempt from Marley. Marley gets slowly back to his feet. Kurtz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marley as he avoids it easily. Bob Marley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter Kurtz. Kurtz shoots in looking for a takedown. Marley tries to sprawl out of it but Kurtz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Marley tries a head kick but it misses.
Marley connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kurtz shoots for a takedown but Marley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Marley misses the target. Marley connects with the punch. Marley misses with a body shot.
Kurtz shoots in and drives through. Marley sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley scores with a kick to the midsection. Kurtz looks gassed! Kurtz moves to clinch but Marley breaks away and Marley counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kurtz's knee momentarily. Marley lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kurtz's sensitive parts. Marley stuffs the takedown attempt from Kurtz. Kurtz gets slowly back to his feet. Kurtz misses with a two punch combination.
Nice cross by Marley. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kurtz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marley is fending him off so far but Kurtz persists. Nope, Marley circles away and we're back to standing. Marley throws a head kick but Kurtz moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A clash of legs there as Kurtz blocks the low kick. Marley tries to land a leg kick but Kurtz saw it coming and moves away.
Kurtz tries to clinch there but Marley circles away.
Marley fails with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Kurtz or perhaps it was just good defense by Marley which made him look bad. Marley is looking to score with low kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurtz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marley. Marley throws a push kick but Kurtz slaps the foot to one side. A good leg kick by Marley. Marley scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Marley tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. A lull in the action here as Marley stalls from top position. Kurtz defending against the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Marley dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

enabling Kurtz to counter with a crisp jab. Marley slaps away a takedown attempt from Kurtz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bob Marley is winning the standup battle so far. Marley shoots in and bounces Kurtz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kurtz trying to control the position.
Marley wants to get up but he can't break Kurtz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kurtz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Marley wanted to stand there but Kurtz had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marley closes the distance and clinches. Kurtz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Marley to keep the fight standing. Marley tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kurtz avoids it. Marley lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kurtz backwards. Marley using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kurtz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley tries to land knees in the clinch but Kurtz avoids the damage to the body. Marley keeps control of Kurtz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kurtz on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kurtz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bob Marley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter Kurtz. Kurtz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marley just stands there and leans against the cage. The referee calls for Marley to work.

Kurtz jumps guard but Marley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A knee to the head by Marley.
It looks like Walter Kurtz has been cut. Kurtz is breathing heavily. Marley dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Kurtz is trying to break the clinch but Marley has him pressed against the cage. Kurtz is trying to drag Marley to the mat but Marley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Marley is struggling to control the position. Marley is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kurtz is defending well for now. Kurtz tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Marley tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marley stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Kurtz won't allow Marley to sweep him here. Kurtz trying to control but Marley is working from the bottom. Marley is pulling down on Kurtz's head to control his posture. Marley wants to stand up but Kurtz is controlling him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marley looking for a sweep. Not yet Marley, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Marley dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Walter Kurtz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
That kick from Marley tenderised Kurtz's leg. Kurtz is trying to keep his angry face on. Kurtz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marley is fending him off so far but Kurtz persists. Nope, Marley circles away and we're back to standing. Marley is looking to score with low kicks. Kurtz closes the distance looking to clinch and Marley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kurtz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marley as he avoids it easily. Kurtz thows a body shot but no joy. Marley fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kurtz checks it well. Marley swats away the attempt to clinch by Kurtz. Kurtz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marley sprawls well. Marley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kurtz gets slowly back to his feet. Bob Marley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walter Kurtz. Kurtz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurtz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kurtz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Marley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Marley looks to land a combination but Kurtz avoids it well. Marley throws a series of punches but Kurtz avoids them all with ease. Marley's corner calls for a 1-2. Marley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Marley tries to move into range but Kurtz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley leaves Kurtz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Marley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kurtz moves out of range of the leg kick from Marley. Kurtz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kurtz on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kurtz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marley avoids it really well and circles away. Marley dips to his left and cracks Kurtz with an uppercut!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A head kick by Kurtz misses and Marley counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Marley displaying some good clinch control by pressing Kurtz up against the cage. Marley throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kurtz blocks it with crossed arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marley throws an elbow that misses.
Marley lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Kurtz is looking for a sweep. Marley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Marley is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kurtz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Walter Kurtz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bob Marley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marley wanted to stand there but Kurtz had control of the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Marley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Marley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
