Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold- by Ted Nugent. Spar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ringo Spar! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Spar scores with a nice head shot. Spar takes a swing at Gunn's ribcage but misses. Gunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gunn gets the takedown into side control. Gunn throws an elbow but Spar slips to the side and avoids it well. Spar is looking for a sweep. Gunn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spar has escaped the position, nice work there. Spar is looking for a sweep. Gunn misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Gunn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Spar manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gunn is trying to work for a kimura but Spar is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn trying to control from half guard but Spar is working away. Spar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Spar tries to roll over but Gunn keeps him under control. Gunn prevents Spar from standing back up.
Gunn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gunn wants to work for an arm triangle but Spar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Spar is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spar gets back to full guard.
Spar pulls Gunn in to control the position. Gunn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Spar keeping full guard, as Gunn tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spar wants to get back to his feet but Gunn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Spar pushes Gunn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. This has been an exciting period of action! Spar lands a nice looking body shot.
Gunn loads up on a big right hand but Spar slips the punch. Ringo Spar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gunn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Spar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn slips a straight right by Spar. Spar connects with a body shot that sends Gunn's belly button to the back. Spar takes a kick to the side of the head. Gunn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Spar. Gunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Spar. Spar throws an overhand right that lands on Gunn's shoulder, as Gunn tries to avoid the shot. Spar scores with a nice right hand.
Gunn misses with a looping right. Gunn shoots in and bounces Spar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gunn throws a big right hand that misses. Spar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Spar pulls Gunn in to control the position. Gunn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn is pushing down on Spar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Spar is fighting to maintain full guard but Gunn has managed to sneak the leg through. Gunn works his way into full mount! Spar can't escape the position.
Gunn thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Gunn is working for a guillotine from mount but Spar frees his head quite easily.
Gunn with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gunn with good strikes from the mount here! Spar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Spar regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Gunn will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gunn avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gunn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gunn's head. Gunn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Gunn throws a right and a left that both miss. Ringo Spar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spar throws a series of punches but Gunn moves out of range. Spar slips a jab from Gunn. Gunn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Spar blocks a head kick by Gunn.
Ringo Spar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gunn misses with a double jab.
Spar misses the jab. Nice body punch from Spar. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gunn throws a shot from downtown. Spar moves away and avoids it. A big right from Gunn misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Gunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A punch combination from Gunn misses. Spar lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spar. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Spar misses with a looping left. Spar misses with an uppercut. Gunn saw that one coming. Gunn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Spar looks to score with a jab to the body but Gunn is just out of range. Spar misses with a few strikes there.
Spar lands a right hook to the body.
Spar connects with the punch. Spar fails to land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Gunn. Those never looked like landing. Spar lands with a hook. Gunn tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spar dips to his left and cracks Gunn with an uppercut!
Gunn is rocked! Spar thuds a left hand into Gunn's body. Oh Gunn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Spar closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Gunn out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ringo Spar! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Ringo Spar made sure he mentioned Canadian Fighter Clothing, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
