The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bundiac drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the cage.
Bundiac blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Bundiac lands an uppercut.
Sanchez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bundiac prevents it.
Bundiac lands a left hand.
Sanchez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bundiac is defending well.
Bundiac struggles to land a body shot inside as Sanchez controls his hands.
A frustrated look appears on Sanchez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bundiac softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Sanchez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bundiac smiles and moves away.
Tedward Bundiac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Sanchez.
Bundiac moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Bundiac tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bundiac manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanchez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bundiac has him pressed against the cage.

Sanchez throws a lazy uppercut
and Bundiac counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sanchez.

Bundiac can't do much from the bottom here.
Bundiac is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sanchez asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Bundiac avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sanchez.
Sanchez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanchez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bundiac rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sanchez's guard! Nice work there by Bundiac!
Bundiac's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sanchez has a closed guard, preventing Bundiac from standing up.

Bundiac drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bundiac jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bundiac seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sanchez wants to stand up but Bundiac is controlling him.
Bundiac wants to stand but Sanchez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bundiac controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Tedward Bundiac wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bundiac tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bundiac misses the shot to the body.

Bundiac cracks Sanchez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bundiac but Bundiac pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bundiac lands with a nice body punch.

Sanchez shoots for a takedown but Bundiac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sanchez shoots in and bounces Bundiac off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Sanchez tries to stand but can't do so whilst Bundiac controls his leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tedward Bundiac.
Sanchez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Bundiac has double underhooks.
