Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roland Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valdmir Vodikoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valdmir Vodikoff is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Roland Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Valdmir Vodikoff! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hunter. Vodikoff fails to land the takedown. Vodikoff fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hunter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vodikoff.
Hunter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vodikoff defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hunter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vodikoff has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vodikoff and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hunter stuffs the takedown. Roland Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valdmir Vodikoff.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hunter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Vodikoff holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Hunter trying to control the position but Vodikoff is working away. Hunter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Vodikoff is trying to work for a sweep but Hunter has mounted him! Vodikoff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vodikoff wants to control but Hunter is having none of it. Vodikoff holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hunter tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hunter unloads with some shots from mount but Vodikoff bucks and avoids them well.
BOOM! Hunter connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hunter looking to secure an arm triangle but Vodikoff defends it well. Vodikoff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hunter is stalling here but it's allowed Vodikoff to get half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter is looking to take a break and control but Vodikoff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hunter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter is trying to control. Vodikoff wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roland Hunter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vodikoff has his takedown stuffed and Hunter counters with a low kick, right behind Vodikoff 's knee. No joy there for Hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hunter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Vodikoff manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter shoots in and drives through. Vodikoff sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roland Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vodikoff's hands. Hunter misses with a body shot.
Hunter throws a leg kick but Vodikoff checks it. Hunter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter throws a lazy head kick and Vodikoff counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hunter! Vodikoff putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hunter sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Hunter gets full guard. Hunter wants to sweep here but Vodikoff controlling him for the moment. Vodikoff loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hunter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vodikoff is one step ahead there. Vodikoff postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hunter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vodikoff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vodikoff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vodikoff working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vodikoff with a flurry of punches that miss. Vodikoff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunter is keeping the position for now. Vodikoff with a flurry of punches that miss. Vodikoff throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hunter looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunter, not yet. Vodikoff lands a couple of digs. Vodikoff throws a sloppy strike and Hunter has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Vodikoff is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Hunter!
