Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lal Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Monkey Junction. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Lal Dama enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lal Dama!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Dama persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Dama fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A head kick misses from Davis.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dama.
Donny Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lal Dama.
Dama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davis but Davis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dama tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis slips a straight right by Dama.
Davis leaves Dama with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dama has a takedown stuffed.
Davis tries to move into range but Dama moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davis but Davis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Dama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dama tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dama somewhat.
Dama takes a jab right on the kisser.

That has opened up Lal Dama's cut even more.
Dama shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davis defends it nicely.
Davis keeps the fight on the outside.
Dama fails with the takedown.
Sloppy strikes from Davis. Those never looked like landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lal Dama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dama looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dama has time to react.
Davis leaves Dama with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oooooh!!! Davis has knocked Dama down with a huge combo! Davis steps away and waves a wobbly Dama back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The cut above Lal Dama's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lal Dama's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
