Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Soto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Curtis Lind!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lind fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Soto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lind sprawls well initially but Soto persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lind wants to get back to his feet.
Soto looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Soto slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lind's waist but Lind gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soto off to one side.

Soto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lind tries to avoid it but Soto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lind to the ground. Lind escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Soto blocks the leg kick.
Lind lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Soto has a takedown stuffed.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soto is defended easily by Lind.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lind defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Soto.

Lind is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Soto.

Soto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Soto thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lind's head.

Lind is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lind is squirming around, avoiding Soto's attempts to control the action.

Soto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lind throws a solid leg kick but Soto takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lind.
Soto misses with a takedown attempt - Lind sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Soto has his takedown stuffed
and Lind cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Soto gets a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Soto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lind gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lind throws out a leg kick but Soto moves out of range and Lind only half commits.
