Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorges Papadopoulos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruger comes into the arena with Tnt blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giorges Papadopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Papadopoulos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Papadopoulos lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kruger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kruger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Papadopoulos to the mat! Papadopoulos manages to get full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that John Kruger will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Papadopoulos can do anything to dispel that myth.
