Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DeSean Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolland Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rolland Pierre told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Pierre.
Pierre showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Larson.
Larson misses with a wild body shot.
Larson rushes Pierre and presses him up against the cage.
Pierre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pierre lands with a good body shot.
Larson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pierre breaks from the clinch.
Larson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pierre throws out the jab.
Pierre wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Larson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pierre circles away from the clinch attempt.
Larson tries for a takedown but Pierre sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Larson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Pierre throws a right hand that Larson ducks under and follows up with a left that Larson also avoids with ease.
Rolland Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Larson throws a head kick but Pierre moves out of range.
Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larson manages to avoid it.
Pierre lands a slapping body shot.
Pierre misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Larson.
Pierre connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Larson momentarily.
Larson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pierre avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pierre jabs at Larson's body.
Larson is breathing heavily.

Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larson manages to avoid it.
Larson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Larson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Larson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pierre sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Larson somewhat.
Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Larson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeSean Larson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Larson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Good standup being displayed there by Pierre as he connects with a hook.

Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Larson.
Larson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Larson is rocked!

Oh Larson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pierre waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Larson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Larson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pierre sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Pierre passes into half guard.
Larson seems to have got his legs back now.
Pierre has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Larson defend it? Pierre steps over the head and cranks it - Larson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pierre!
