Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aengus O�Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O�Donnell comes into the arena with Dropkick Murphys - Worker's Song blaring out of the sound system. Anthony Burgess has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burgess missing with a left hand there. O�Donnell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Burgess misses with a straight left.
Burgess fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and O�Donnell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Burgess lands with a good body shot.
Burgess lands a really nice looking cross but O�Donnell seems unphased.

O�Donnell avoids the body shot from Burgess.
Burgess connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Burgess lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and O�Donnell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from O�Donnell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Burgess's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Burgess duly obliges.

O�Donnell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burgess but Burgess pushes him off and we're back to square one.
O�Donnell is looking to clinch.
Burgess tries to bum rush O�Donnell with a series of wild strikes but O�Donnell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Burgess turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Burgess lands a nice looking body shot.
A jab lands there for O�Donnell.

O�Donnell looks to land a left hand but Burgess moved out of range nicely.
Burgess ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
O�Donnell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Burgess misses with a low kick.
Burgess works O�Donnell's body with a nice hook.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Burgess feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O�Donnells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Burgess dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
O�Donnell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
