Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gleb Vendler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gleb Vendler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Snow! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vendler will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Snow shoots in and gets a takedown into Vendler's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow throwing strikes from guard but Vendler blocks nicely. Snow throws a big right hand that misses. Snow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Snow with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Vendler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vendler is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Snow is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Snow keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vendler's head. Snow is pushing down on Vendler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vendler is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through. Snow is looking to take a break and control but Vendler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Snow is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Vendler reverses the position - he's now on top in Snow's guard. Vendler postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vendler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vendler stopping the sweep attempt from Snow. Vendler trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Vendler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snow swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snow is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vendler defends well. Vendler preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vendler wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position. Snow wants to hit a switch here but Vendler passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Snow there! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vendler takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Snow trying to control the hands but Vendler won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow is trying to break free.
Snow is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Vendler has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Snow's body.
Snow tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Snow is working to get back to half guard.
Vendler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Snow is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vendler wants to control the pace but Snow is squirming around nicely. Vendler looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Vendler is breathing heavily. Vendler tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snow is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Snow dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
No luck for Snow with that takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vendler is defended easily by Snow. Vendler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snow on his heels. He'll look to pass Snow's guard now, I'm sure. Vendler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Snow manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Snow landing strikes from the mount and Vendler is in trouble! Snow is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jon Snow has got the better of the ground game so far. Snow in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow lands with some strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Snow raining down shots from the mount! Vendler really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Snow trying to control but he's not successful this time. Snow lands with some strikes. Snow working for a guillotine from mount but Vendler is in no mood to give up. Vendler is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Snow connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Snow scoring with strikes but Vendler is staying in there. Vendler on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vendler tries to get out of the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Snow working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Snow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Snow lands a heavy elbow. Snow breaks from Vendler's wrist control and lands an elbow. Snow with good strikes from the mount here! Snow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Snow has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Vendler's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vendler can't escape the position.

The referee warns Vendler that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Snow prevents Vendler from getting the reversal. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vendler is in a horrible position here. Snow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Snow is landing with some decent strikes but Vendler is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Snow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Vendler won't allow Snow to sweep him here. Snow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Snow is looking for a triangle but Vendler pushes his legs off easily.
Snow has an active guard here but Vendler has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vendler lands strikes from half guard. Snow looking for submissions off his back. Vendler is working for a submission of some sort.
Vendler thows a huge punch but Snow dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vendler tries to stand but can't do so whilst Snow controls his leg. Snow is holding on to half guard well. Vendler trying to pass the guard but Snow defending well. Snow is looking to improve his position.
Vendler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snow keeps working. Snow wants to control but Vendler is keeping busy.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Snow shoots in for a takedown but Vendler shows good takedown defense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow doesn't succeed with the takedown and Vendler counters with a nice body shot. Vendler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Snow's guard. Snow looking for a sweep. Not yet Snow, not yet. Snow wants to stand and escape but Vendler is having none of it. Snow wants to sweep but no luck. Snow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vendler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Vendler stands up from Snow's guard - Vendler perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow tries to sprawl but Vendler drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Snow wants to improve his position but Vendler is controlling well.
Snow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vendler pulls his head out easily. Vendler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snow is trying to get back to full guard. Gleb Vendler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Snow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Vendler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gleb Vendler. I think Snow has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
