Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green closes the distance and clinches up with Penn, looking for a takedown. Green pushes Penn against the cage but Penn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Green shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Penn tries to reverse the position but Green maintains control.
Penn throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Green is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Penn has managed to escape the submission attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penn is on top in guard.

A close round but Eddie Penn will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Penn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Green.

Green drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Penn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Green has Penn in his guard.

Let's hope that Penn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arthur Green will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Penn misses with a takedown attempt - Green sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Green tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Green to the ground. Green escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
