Pietroff's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Russian National Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jose Orsini showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Good work by Pietroff as he checks the leg kick.
Pietroff doesn't manage to clinch there - Orsini circles away.
Orsini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Pietroff turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pietroff manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pietroff lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Orsini down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jose Orsini is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Pietroff tries to close the distance and clinch but Orsini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pietroff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pietroff ducks under a wild hook from Orsini.

Orsini lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pietroff throws a low kick but it's checked well by Orsini.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nikita Pietroff.
I think Orsini has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
