The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin shoots in and bounces Moniz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Martin stays in close to Moniz's body and controls the position.
Martin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Thiago Moniz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close round but I would say that Imanol Martin will probably get the nod.

Martin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moniz's waist but Moniz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martin off to one side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moniz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martin rushes Moniz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Thiago Moniz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
