Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Angelique Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reaper Sickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sickle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sickle wants to clinch up but Norman keeps it at a distance.

Norman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sickle trying to hold on to Norman's head to control him but Norman postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sickle can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sickle controlling the position for now.
Sickle is looking to improve his position.
Norman thows a huge punch but Sickle dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sickle is trying to control but Norman passes into side control!
Sickle looking for a sweep but Norman has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Sickle tries to lock up and control but Norman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Norman is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sickle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sickle wants to control but Norman is having none of it.
Sickle is looking to improve his position but Norman isn't that keen on the idea.
Norman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Norman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sickle hang on?

Norman stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Norman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Norman is standing up over Sickle. Sickle looks to escape but Norman dives into side control.
Sickle looks gassed!

Sickle tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Norman presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Norman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Norman trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sickle is trying to reverse the position but instead Norman has taken his back - oops!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sickle rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Sickle tries to get to full guard but Norman has control of the leg.

Norman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sickle to get to his feet.
Sickle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Norman lands with a slapping head kick.
Norman misses with a takedown attempt - Sickle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Sickle clinches up with Norman and pushes him back against the cage.
Sickle lands a hook that snaps the head of Norman backwards.

Sickle jumps guard and drags Norman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sickle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Norman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sickle is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Sickle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sickle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sickle wants to sweep here but Norman controlling him for the moment.

Sickle scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sickle misses with a takedown attempt
and Norman makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sickle really felt that one!
Sickle throws an overhand right that has Norman reeling! Sickle follows up with a more punches and Norman is out cold! This one is all over!
