The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MImbo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
MImbo wants to clinch up but Ruken keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ruken looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

MImbo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ruken is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ruken is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Ruken looking to hit a scissor sweep but MImbo is one step ahead there.
Ruken really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MImbo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ruken wants to control but MImbo is having none of it.

MImbo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ruken has managed to escape the submission attempt.
