The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fei Hong manages to avoid it.
Roddy Piper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fei Hong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fei Hong enables Piper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fei Hong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
