The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avisius lands a big head kick that sends Franco tumbling to the mat! Avisius takes a step backwards and waves Franco back to his feet - he wants the finish!
James Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Franco walks into a left hand.
Franco looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Avisius!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Franco unloads with some shots from mount but Avisius bucks and avoids them well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Avisius is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Franco locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Avisius is forced to tap!
