The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Van Geeren!
Lannister avoids the attempt from Van Geeren to control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Van Geeren is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Van Geeren wants to hold on but Lannister pushes him away.
Van Geeren is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lannister connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Van Geeren bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Lannister pulls Van Geeren in close to his closed guard and prevents Van Geeren from doing any damage or advancing position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Van Geeren won't allow Lannister to get back to his feet.
Van Geeren has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lannister is proving hard to escape from.
Lannister has control of Van Geeren's left arm, preventing Van Geeren from doing any damage.

Van Geeren tries to free his leg and advance position but Lannister is retaining full guard.
Van Geeren pushes down on Lannister's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Well, if Van Geeren is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lannister is looking to improve his position.
Van Geeren keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Lannister is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jamie Lannister.
Horrible takedown by Lannister or perhaps it was just good defense by Van Geeren which made him look bad.
Van Geeren slaps away a takedown attempt from Lannister, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Van Geeren counters with a straight right hand.
Lannister swings for the body but Van Geeren moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Van Geeren as Lannister shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Lannister. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Emiel Van Geeren is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lannister is breathing heavily.

Van Geeren paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lannister shoots in looking for a takedown but Van Geeren manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lannister's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Van Geeren misses with a few strikes there.
Van Geeren cracks Lannister with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lannister looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Van Geeren finish him?
and Van Geeren counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Lannister! He's just covering up as Van Geeren starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emiel Van Geeren!
