The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfield closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ogrodnik 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ogrodnik wants to control the position but Mayfield says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Ogrodnik won't allow Mayfield to pass to mount.

Ogrodnik has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mayfield is working away from the top position though.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Mayfield! Ogrodnik is hurt baaadly! Mayfield is firing away with more strikes - Ogrodnik is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
