Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaspar Nery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Nery!
Brown working for a submission but Nery is keeping him at bay.
Brown misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Brown unloads with some shots from mount but Nery bucks and avoids them well.
Brown throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Nery is trying to escape the mount.
Brown throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Brown is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Nery is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Nery flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Brown anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Nery and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Brown slips an arm under Nery chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Brown has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Brown is squeezing on Nery like an anaconda would it's prey. Nery fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tony Brown!
