Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isno Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juhani Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Isno Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Juhani Virtanen! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Virtanen. Good shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Good passes to side control. Virtanen is not content to let Good control the position. Virtanen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Virtanen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Virtanen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Virtanen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Good! Good really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Virtanen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Good is now in Virtanen's guard. A big mistake from Virtanen there, giving up the dominant position! Good working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Good stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Virtanen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Virtanen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Virtanen controls Good momentarily but Good frees himself. Good wanted to stand there but Virtanen had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Virtanen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Good's guard. Good is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Virtanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Good is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Virtanen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Virtanen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Good has escaped the position, nice work there. Virtanen looking to control but instead Good has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Virtanen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Good defends it well. Virtanen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Virtanen is trying to control. Good wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Virtanen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Good might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Virtanen is keen to just control but Good is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Virtanen wants to free his trapped foot but Good is holding on for dear life with his legs. Virtanen trying to work for an americana but Good has managed to regain full guard.
Virtanen looking to sit in guard and control but Good gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good stopping the sweep attempt from Virtanen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juhani Virtanen dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Good tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Virtanen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Virtanen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Virtanen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Virtanen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Good can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Virtanen lands with some strikes. Virtanen working away from the top, dropping strikes. Virtanen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Good is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Good and Virtanen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's one minute gone in the round. Virtanen passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Good! Virtanen looking to secure an arm triangle but Good defends it well. Virtanen putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Virtanen looking to control and managing it successfully. Good is trying to escape the mount.
Virtanen goes for an armbar but Good turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Good. Virtanen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Good is aware though and is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Virtanen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Virtanen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Virtanen passes Good's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Good is trying to control but can't.
Virtanen works his way into full mount! Virtanen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Virtanen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Virtanen. Virtanen looking to secure an arm triangle but Good defends it well. Virtanen working away from the top, dropping strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Virtanen looking for a guillotine from mount but Good is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good stops Virtanen from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juhani Virtanen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Virtanen drives through with a takedown into guard. Good keeping full guard, as Virtanen tries to pass. Virtanen passes Good's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Virtanen throwing shots but Good is blocking nicely. Good is staying active underneath Virtanen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Virtanen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Virtanen wants to pass the guard but Good is defending well. Virtanen performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Virtanen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Good does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Juhani Virtanen wasn't active enough on the ground. Good tries to clinch but Virtanen is having none of it. Virtanen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Good is out of range. Virtanen shoots in and bounces Good off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Juhani Virtanen has got the better of the ground game so far. Virtanen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Virtanen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Good looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Good looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Good! Virtanen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Good's best efforts. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Good prevents Virtanen from improving his position. Virtanen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Good. Virtanen is looking for a sweep. Good is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Virtanen is trying to maintain the position but Good is very close to passing his half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Virtanen can do anything to dispel that myth. Virtanen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Good's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Good's back! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Virtanen's arms.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Virtanen is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Good. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Good defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Good is keeping busy.
Virtanen just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Virtanen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Good. Virtanen gets his hands free as Good looks to control. Good is keeping busy.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Virtanen has good solid back control here. Good rolls, trying to escape but Virtanen keeps control of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Virtanen lands an elbow to the side of the head. Isno Good has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Juhani Virtanen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Virtanen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
And that's the end of the fight! Juhani Virtanen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Virtanen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Juhani Virtanen wins by unanimous decision! In his post fight interview, Juhani Virtanen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
