Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hansen Kulvic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Najman!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kulvic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Najman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kulvic just content to control the position.

Kulvic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Najman, who protects the arm well.
Kulvic takes a little break here. Najman wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Najman is pushing Kulvic's head away, looking to escape. Kulvic manages to hold on to the position though.

Kulvic tries to move to mount but Najman blocks the move with his legs.

Kulvic is trying to get an arm triangle but Najman is defending well.
Najman pushes Kulvic away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kulvic gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kulvic works to advance to full mount. Najman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kulvic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Najman tries to buck Kulvic off but Kulvic takes his back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Kulvic controlling the positon.
Kulvic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kulvic misses with a punch to the head.
Kulvic just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hansen Kulvic has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Kulvic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kulvic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Najman did well to prevent Kulvic getting side control.

Kulvic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Najman is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Kulvic has taken his back.
Najman is breathing heavily.
Kulvic really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Najman.

Najman is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Kulvic.

Najman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Kulvic has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Kulvic just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Najman controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Kulvic is riding his opponent, not letting Najman buck him off.
Hansen Kulvic overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Najman is having to fend off submission attempts from Kulvic, who is looking to sink in the choke. Kulvic doesn't have the hooks in though and Najman manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Hansen Kulvic wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Najman lands with an overhand left.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kulvic shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kulvic was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kulvic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Najman tries to bum rush Kulvic with a series of wild strikes but Kulvic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Najman misses with a looping left.
Najman throws out a loose jab but Kulvic uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kulvic clinches up with Najman and pushes him back against the cage.

Kulvic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Najman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kulvic scores with a takedown into Najman's guard.
Kulvic stops Najman from standing up.
Kulvic engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Najman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kulvic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Najman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Najman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kulvic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A big right from Najman misses.

Kulvic closes the distance and pushes Najman back into the cage.
Najman tries to break the clinch but Kulvic is controlling the position.

Kulvic has hold of one of Najman's legs. Najman is fighting the takedown attempt but Kulvic gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kulvic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Najman can do to turn this around?
Kulvic prevents Najman from getting back to his feet.
Kulvic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Najman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kulvic controls the pace.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hansen Kulvic wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Kulvic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kulvic is in close to Najman's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kulvic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well Kulvic has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
