Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rory Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Klitcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds comes into the arena with cinderella man blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reynolds looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Reynolds wants to take a breather but Klitcho is having none of it. Reynolds wants to free his trapped foot but Klitcho is holding on for dear life with his legs. Reynolds prevents Klitcho from improving his position. Reynolds is breathing heavily. Klitcho has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reynolds is proving hard to escape from. Reynolds has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klitcho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reynolds is trying to control the position but Klitcho postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klitcho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reynolds as he avoids it easily. Reynolds dives in and scores a takedown into Klitcho's guard. Reynolds gets to his feet. Klitcho looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Reynolds takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Reynolds takes a body punch but keeps moving. Klitcho lands a body shot.

Klitcho throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reynolds's head. Klitcho has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Klitcho lands with a slapping head kick. Klitcho closes the distance and clinches up with Reynolds, looking for a takedown. Klitcho pushes Reynolds against the cage but Reynolds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klitcho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Klitcho dives in and grabs Reynolds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reynolds pushes down on Klitcho's head and hops out. Klitcho misses with a kick to the body.
Reynolds is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Klitcho's half guard. Klitcho wants to get back to full guard. Klitcho throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Klitcho slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Reynolds controlling from the top position.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Klitcho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Klitcho is trying to keep Reynolds in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reynolds slaps away a takedown attempt from Klitcho, before circling back to the center of the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reynolds throws a leg kick and Klitcho counters with a big head kick but Reynolds shrugs it off. Reynolds tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Klitcho paws at him with a jab and circles away. Klitcho is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rory Reynolds will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Reynolds. That's going to take a lot out of him. A combination from Reynolds does no damage. Klitcho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Klitcho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reynolds, pushing him back against the cage. Klitcho has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reynolds uses from the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rory Reynolds. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reynolds, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
