Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clone Coleman !
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Coleman misses with a wild body shot.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Coleman manages to get back to half guard.

Jones is looking for a kimura here.

Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Coleman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.

Coleman kicks Jones off and gets back to his feet.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.

Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coleman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Coleman throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jones looking for a guillotine here but Coleman defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coleman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Coleman is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Coleman has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.

Jones working for a triangle but Coleman defends it easily.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Coleman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coleman pulls his head out easily.
Coleman working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Coleman scores with a couple of nice shots.

Coleman is working for a submission of some sort.
Coleman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Coleman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Coleman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Coleman eventually gives up the hold.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clone Coleman dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Coleman .
Coleman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coleman .
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Coleman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Coleman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jones has momentary wrist control but Coleman slips an elbow through the middle.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Coleman defends well.

Coleman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Coleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Coleman . He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Coleman lands strikes from half guard.
Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coleman 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coleman 's back!
Coleman wants to control his opponent's hands but Jones gets his hands free.
Coleman is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Jones off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Jones is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Coleman won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Jones off his unconscious opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcus Jones!
An out of breath Marcus Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
