The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boat looks to clinch
and Del Norte counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Del Norte dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Del Norte looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Boat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Del Norte lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Del Norte has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Boat's face.
It looks like Tug Boat has been cut.
Boat is working to get back to half guard.
Del Norte lands a nice shot to the head.
Tug Boat's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tug Boat's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
