Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pj Denn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Zamorano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denn comes to the ring accompanied by Won't Back Down by Tom Petty. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamorano doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Denn counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Denn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Denn is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Denn seems to be working for a kimura but Zamorano defends the submission attempt.
Zamorano is trying to stand.
Denn working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Zamorano's thigh. Zamorano counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Denn wants to control from the top but Zamorano keeps moving.

Zamorano is trying to escape back to his feet but Denn uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Zamorano pushes Denn away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Denn gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Denn counters with a left and a right that stings Zamorano.

Zamorano is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Denn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zamorano cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Denn is in a horrible position here. Zamorano smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Denn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ivan Zamorano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
