Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dorn Il Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Just One Fix. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dorn Il Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gene Hoffman!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il Khan with a lazy takedown attempt

and Hoffman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hoffman seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Hoffman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Il Khan defends it well.
Hoffman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Il Khan keeps working.
Il Khan moves into full guard.

Il Khan is pulling down on Hoffman's head. It's preventing any offense from Hoffman, at least for the moment.

Gene Hoffman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Il Khan.

A lull in the action here as Il Khan stalls from top position.
Il Khan lands some shots froms side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoffman can't do much from the bottom here.

Il Khan passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hoffman!

Il Khan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hoffman is surviving well by controlling Il Khan's body position as best he can.

Il Khan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hoffman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Il Khan controlling his opponent.

Il Khan moves to the back position.

Hoffman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Il Khan is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hoffman has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Il Khan has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hoffman taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Il Khan doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dorn Il Khan!
Dorn Il Khan looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Silence dog your only purpose is to die by my hand'.
