Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Barcinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Crump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crump shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Barcinas working for a triangle but Crump defends it easily.
Barcinas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Crump drops back looking for a leg! Barcinas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barcinas manages to kick Crump off! Crump jumps back into Barcinas's guard.
Crump controls from within his opponent's guard.
Barcinas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Barcinas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crump stacks Barcinas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crump!
Crump wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barcinas keeps working.
Barcinas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crump on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crump is working to tighten is grip on Barcinas's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Barcinas has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crump is really squeezing tight and eventually Barcinas passes out! Crump breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
