Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Sauna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauna waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Young.
Young uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sauna.
Nice shot lands for Sauna.
Young works Sauna's body with a nice hook.
Sauna dives in and grabs Young's left leg, looking for a takedown. Young pushes down on Sauna's head and hops out.
Sauna blocks a head kick by Young.
Young lands with a kick to the temple. Sauna shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sauna has his takedown stuffed
and Young counters with an outside leg kick.
Young scores with a kick to the midsection.
Young throws a head kick that misses.
Sauna connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A nice inside leg kick there by Young. That's going to slow Sauna down.
Young will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Young throws the left hand but Sauna avoids the punch easily.
Sauna shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Young sprawls well. Young wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sauna gets slowly back to his feet.
Alan Young has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Sauna.
Sauna blocks a head kick by Young.
Sauna throws out a loose jab but Young uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sauna fails with a takedown attempt.
Sauna circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sauna throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Young on the side of the head.

Young jabs Sauna to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sauna misses with a hook. Young ducked under it nicely.
Young throws a nice inside leg kick.

Young gets a clinch.
Young looking to throw knees to the head but Sauna is blocking nicely.
Sauna tries to pull guard but Young holds him up against the cage and eventually Sauna drops back down to his feet.
Young lands a hook that snaps the head of Sauna backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Young.

Young pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Young throws a combination that misses
and Sauna counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sauna throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Young sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Young moves into the clinch.

Sauna is working for takedown but Young is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sauna is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Young is keeping busy.
Sauna just leaning against Young, taking a breather.
Young lands a left hand.

Young's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sauna throws a shot from downtown. Young moves away and avoids it.
Young connects with a high kick.

Sauna is rocked!
Young lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sauna on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sauna is still on wobbly legs! Can Young finish him?
Young misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Young drives through and clinches with Sauna against the cage.

Young unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Sauna! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Young is unloading with more strikes now! Sauna drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
