Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oppolla Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oppolla Doc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Guti!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oppolla Doc!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guti misses with a leg kick.
Guti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doc.
Oppolla Doc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Doc, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Guti misses the shot to the body.
Guti throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Doc stuns Guti with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nice body punch from Guti.
Doc looks to land a combination but Guti avoids it well.
Doc keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Doc wants to clinch up but Guti keeps it at a distance.
Doc throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Guti is breathing heavily.
Guti drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doc is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Doc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guti drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Doc dives on top into guard.
Guti looking for a guillotine here but Doc defends easily.
Doc gets to his feet. Guti looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oppolla Doc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Guti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doc tries to avoid it but Guti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doc to the ground. Doc escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Doc misses with a wild body shot.
Guti slips a jab from Doc.
Guti scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Doc gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Guti takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Doc is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Doc bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Guti's head.
Doc fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guti looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Doc is looking to escape.
Guti seems to be working for a kimura but Doc defends the submission attempt.
Guti wants to pass the guard but Doc is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Guti is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Doc doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Guti.
Doc wants to get back to his feet.
Guti wants to control but Doc is keeping him busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Guti throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doc.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guti fails with the takedown.
Guti looks for a takedown but Doc sprawls well.
Left hook, right uppercut from Doc.
Guti scores a takedown into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guti is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Guti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doc goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A good leg kick by Guti.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Doc knocks Guti out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
