The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLeod closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rhodes's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McLeod wants to pass the guard but Rhodes is keeping the position.
Rhodes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McLeod stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rhodes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McLeod is posturing up here but Rhodes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McLeod tries to roll out but it's too tight and McLeod has to tap! Slick submission there by Rhodes!
