Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Barac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolai Demikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barac comes into the arena with Connected blaring out of the sound system. Demikovic has chosen Russian National Anthem as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demikovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barac.
Demikovic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Demikovic tries to clinch up but Barac circles away and keeps his distance.
Barac works the jab nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barac. That's going to slow Demikovic down.
Barac stuffs the takedown attempt from Demikovic. Demikovic gets slowly back to his feet.
Demikovic gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Barac.
Demikovic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barac scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Nicolai Demikovic has been cut.
Demikovic fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ivan Barac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicolai Demikovic.
Barac misses with a hook.
Barac tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Demikovic is able to avoid easily.

Barac lands a big uppercut and Demikovic crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Demikovic looks OK. Barac waves Demikovic back to his feet!

Demikovic is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Demikovic switches off momentarily and Barac cracks him with a monster right hand! Demikovic topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Barac dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Barac!

After the fight, Ivan Barac was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
