Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Brown!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brown pushes Williams up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brown takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brown gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Williams tries for a takedown. No joy.
Williams wants to take the fight to the mat but Brown manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams has clasped his hands together around Brown's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Williams is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brown has escaped the position, nice work there.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Williams has hold of Brown's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Brown tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Williams cranks the arm and Brown screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Brown, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Will Williams!
