Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Materson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materson has a takedown stuffed.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Materson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
Materson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Materson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Materson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Materson gets slowly back to his feet.

Materson looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
Materson closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Materson pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Materson prevents Smith from getting the reversal.

Materson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
A nice elbow there by Materson.

Materson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Smith is looking to escape.
Smith tries to hold on but Materson pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Materson drops a big elbow. That's hurt Smith! More shots from Materson and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
