Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nweave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nweave has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson checks a low kick from Nweave.
Nweave wants to clinch up but Robertson keeps it at a distance.
Robertson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Robertson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nweave is trying to get back to his feet.
Nweave tries to bench press Robertson off him but Robertson keeps the position.
Nweave is not content to let Robertson control the position.
Nweave is pushing Robertson's head away, looking to escape. Robertson manages to hold on to the position though.

Nweave wants to stand and escape but Robertson is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Robertson will probably get the nod.

Robertson stands and steps away. Nweave gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Robertson lands a huge takedown. Nweave is out but the ref is slow to react and Robertson lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Nweave lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
