Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think de Souza might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dry County. The crowd seem to be enjoying Matthews's choice of entrance music: God's Gonna Cut You Down . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Matthews throws a knee to the head but misses.

de Souza drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Matthews gets the underhooks and prevents it.
de Souza lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Matthews is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Matthews got a little sloppy there for a moment and de Souza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matthews has managed to get both his arms back between de Souza's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
