Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eikichi Onizuka! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White scoring well with a low kick there.
White throws a low kick but Onizuka avoids it. White looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Onizuka! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. White wants to finish this one by submission but Onizuka is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from White. White misses with a head shot. Onizuka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Onizuka's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Onizuka holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as White tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Poor strikes thrown by White there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's one minute gone in the round. White lands a nice shot to the head. White with shots to the head and body - Onizuka looks very uncomfortable down there. White looking for a guillotine from mount but Onizuka is having none of it. Onizuka is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

White is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Onizuka to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Onizuka shrugs it off. White with shots to the head and body - Onizuka looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! White misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Onizuka really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Onizuka is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Onizuka is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. White locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Onizuka is forced to tap!
