Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Gotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Thunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gotch comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. Thunders has chosen Ain't That A Kick In The Head by Dean Martin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotch takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
No luck for Gotch with that takedown attempt.
Gotch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gotch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thunders napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
An elbow from Gotch crashes against the mat.
The strikes coming from Gotch are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Gotch working the ground and pound but Thunders is defending the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gotch is trying to pull guard but Thunders has him pressed against the cage.
Gotch changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Thunders fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Gotch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gotch lands a nice shot to the body.
Gotch shoots in for a double leg but Thunders sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gotch avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Thunders throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gotch shoots for a double leg takedown but Thunders sprawls well. He's pushed Gotch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gotch is breathing heavily.
Thunders fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Thunders sends Gotch crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thunders is motioning to the referee to let Gotch up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Gotch is rocked!
It looks like Frank Gotch has been cut.
Thunders lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gotch will feel that in the morning.
Horrible takedown by Gotch or perhaps it was just good defense by Thunders which made him look bad.
Thunders drops Gotch with a huge uppercut! Gotch drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Thunders is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Thunders!
In his post fight interview, Johnny Thunders started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
