PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cock Chestner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Combs's choice of entrance music: All About The Benjamins. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cock Chestner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Combs!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chestner tries for a takedown but Combs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Combs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chestner pinned against the cage. Chestner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Chestner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Combs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Combs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Combs looking to pass the guard.
Chestner wants to stand up but Combs is controlling him.
Combs postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Combs keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chestner's head.
Combs tries to free his leg and advance position but Chestner is retaining full guard.
Combs is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Combs is looking to work some ground and pound but Chestner has wrist control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Combs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Combs throwing strikes from guard but Chestner blocks nicely.
Chestner wants to get back to his feet but Combs is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Combs is looking to stand up but Chestner won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Combs takes the fight into the clinch.
Chestner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Combs can't get the takedown.
The is referee keeping an eye on Chestner - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Chestner.
Chestner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Combs has Chestner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chestner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cock Chestner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Combs.
Chestner stops a takedown attempt from Combs.
Combs can't get the takedown.
Combs looks gassed!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chestner.
Chestner has had enough of the clinch but Combs keeps him there for the moment.
Chestner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Combs.

Chestner breaks from the clinch.

Combs looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Combs sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chestner defending well though.
Combs prevents Chestner from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chestner is looking to get back to full guard here but Combs has managed to pass to side control instead.

Combs has hold of Chestner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chestner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Combs punching from mount but Chestner doing a good job of avoiding damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Combs working for a guillotine from mount but Chestner is in no mood to give up.
Combs wants to control the pace but Chestner is squirming around nicely.

Combs working for a submission but Chestner is keeping him at bay.
Combs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Combs looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Combs looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Combs is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chestner is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chestner flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Combs anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chestner and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Combs slips an arm under Chestner chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Combs has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Combs is squeezing on Chestner like an anaconda would it's prey. Chestner fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sean Combs!
