The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Mann as he checks the leg kick.
Mann throws an off balance right hand
and Schilt counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mann is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A telegraphed right hand from Schilt misses the target.
Schilt cracks the inside of Mann's front leg.
Schilt lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mann backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mann on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mann is rocked!
Mann glances at the clock... BAM! Schilt nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Mann crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Mann is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gilbert Schilt!
Our winner, Gilbert Schilt, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
