Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Robertson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teddy Roosevelt! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Roosevelt misses with a hook. Roosevelt dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Robertson takes a swing at Roosevelt's ribcage but misses. Roosevelt misses with a straight left. Robertson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Robertson takes one to the side of the head.
Roosevelt rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Robertson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Robertson stuns Roosevelt with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Roosevelt misses the jab. Roosevelt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A left lands for Robertson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roosevelt takes a jab right on the kisser.

Robertson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Robertson moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roosevelt tries to break the clinch but Robertson is controlling the position. Robertson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Robertson lands a hook to the side of the head. Roosevelt is trying to break free. Robertson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Robertson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Roosevelt clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roosevelt can't escape the position.
Robertson lands a shot to the head. Robertson trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Roosevelt doesn't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robertson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Roosevelt is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Robertson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Robertson missing with punches from the back. Robertson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Roosevelt tries to roll but Robertson sticks to his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robertson has got one arm under Roosevelt's chin. This could be trouble... Roosevelt trying to control the other hand but Robertson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Roosevelt has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brian Robertson! A relieved looking Brian Robertson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
