The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
TupperIII misses with a takedown
and Helix counters with a nice low kick that buckles TupperIII's knee momentarily.
TupperIII misses with a takedown attempt
and Helix counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Helix displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from TupperIII.
Brad Helix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby TupperIII.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from TupperIII is defended easily by Helix.
A telegraphed right hand from Helix misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
TupperIII gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Helix counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are battling for position here. TupperIII manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
TupperIII has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Helix doesn't defend quickly enough and TupperIII has managed to lock this one up! Can Helix escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to TupperIII on a fantastic submission victory.
