Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Roussow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes to the cage accompanied by BLEED IT OUT. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Roussow! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roussow is looking to clinch. Marshall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marshall there as he acknowledges the shot. Roussow tries to clinch there but Marshall circles away.
Roussow fails in his attempt to clinch. Marshall gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Roussow. Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Decent striking displayed by Roussow there. Marshall avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Roussow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Roussow misses with a hook. Marshall ducked under it nicely. Roussow fails in his attempt to clinch. A punch combination from Marshall misses. Marshall misses with a hook. Roussow doesn't manage to clinch there - Marshall circles away.

Roussow is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Marshall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Marshall gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall lands a knee to the body.
Marshall breaks the clinch.
Marshall misses with a looping left. Marshall moves into the clinch successfully.
Roussow looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Roussow can't find room to land a body shot as Marshall controls the action.
Marshall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roussow scores with a nice head shot. Roussow wants to clinch up but Marshall keeps it at a distance. Marshall dodges the punch combination from Roussow.
Roussow throws a head kick that misses and Marshall counters with a body kick. Andrei Marshall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Marshall misses the jab. Roussow is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Roussow has Marshall up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marshall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roussow pushes Marshall up against the cage in a clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Marshall obliges. Roussow struggles to land a body shot inside as Marshall controls his hands.

It looks like Mike Roussow has been cut. Marshall clinches up with Roussow and pushes him back against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Roussow - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Marshall blocking some punches.
Marshall wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Marshall stalling in the clinch but Roussow improves position. A short right from Roussow on the inside. Marshall tries a knee to the head but Roussow blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roussow misses with some punches.
Roussow lands on the inside with an uppercut. Marshall is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Marshall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Roussow wants to clinch up but Marshall keeps it at a distance. Marshall gets in close and instigates a clinch. Roussow has hold of one of Marshall's legs. Marshall is fighting the takedown attempt but Roussow gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Roussow controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Roussow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike Roussow wasn't active enough on the ground. Roussow has closed the distance and engaged Marshall in a clinch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marshall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Roussow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Marshall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Roussow is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Marshall rolls with it to try and escape but Roussow cranks on the arm and Marshall is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
