Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ZULU GONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ZULU GONG! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Slice controlling the pace for now. Slice avoids the attempt from GONG to control. Slice lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
GONG takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Slice avoids the attempt from GONG to control. Slice landing strikes from the mount. Slice with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
GONG is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. GONG is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice controlling from the full mount. GONG is bucking up trying to escape but Slice cracks him with another couple of good strikes. GONG's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Slice tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. BOOM! Slice connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A nice elbow there by Slice. Slice tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Slice has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. GONG tries to control Slice's body but Slice pushes him off. GONG squirms to his side and now Slice has his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slice punishes GONG with strikes from the back mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. GONG defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Slice's arms. GONG manages to reverse the position and now he's in Slice's guard. Nice work there by GONG.
Slice has control of GONG's left arm, preventing GONG from doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slice is on top in guard.
Slice looks gassed! GONG trying to strike off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. GONG is trying to control the position but Slice postures up. GONG can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slice controls the pace. GONG is trying to control the position from the bottom.
GONG is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
GONG is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slice is controlling him. Slice decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Slice bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. GONG is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Slice is controlling him well. GONG wants to control but Slice postures up. GONG tries to bench press Slice off him but Slice keeps the position. GONG can't do much from the bottom here. GONG prevents Slice from improving position. Slice is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. GONG misses with a series of wild punches.
ZULU GONG seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. GONG shoots and misses and Slice counters with a shoot takedown. GONG fights it but they end up in guard. GONG wants to sweep but no luck. Slice slips nicely into half guard. Slice tries to stand but can't do so whilst GONG controls his leg. Slice landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Slice keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. GONG has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Slice is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. GONG manages to get to full guard.
GONG is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Slice won't allow GONG to pass to mount. GONG trying to control the action but Slice is working from the bottom. Slice is holding on to half guard well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slice. Slice working a defensive guard here.
GONG trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. GONG wants to get up but he can't break Slice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Slice keeping moving, preventing GONG from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Slice manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Slice pushes GONG up against the cage in a clinch. GONG tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

GONG is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. GONG tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slice just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ZULU GONG. That's going to take a lot out of him. GONG wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. GONG is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Slice is keeping busy. GONG wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Slice is looking to break free of the clinch but GONG has double underhooks. Slice jumps into guard, dragging GONG to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Slice circles away from the clinch attempt and Slice counters with a takedown into side control. GONG is looking for a sweep. GONG looking for a sweep but Slice has passed into full mount! Oh no! GONG wants to hold on but Slice pushes him away. Slice tries to control but GONG wriggling away. GONG tries to hold on but Slice postures up. Slice controlling the pace for now. Slice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. GONG looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Slice is hanging on to GONG's back as he tries to escape.
Slice is riding his opponent, not letting GONG buck him off. GONG trying to control the hands but Slice breaks the grip.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
GONG tries to escape the position.
Slice has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. GONG can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice controls the action. Slice cracks GONG with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing GONG from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Slice trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure GONG doesn't escape. GONG takes a big shot to the side of the head.
GONG wants to control his opponent's hands but Slice gets his hands free. I really don't envy GONG right now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. GONG defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. GONG with a flurry of punches that miss. Slice seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Slice wants to sweep here but GONG controlling him for the moment. GONG trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Kimbo Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
