Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Tombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez has chosen Spill The Wine - War as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tombo looks to land a combination but Perez avoids it well.
Perez jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Perez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tombo but Tombo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Billy Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tombo looks to land a left hand but Perez moved out of range nicely.
Tombo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tombo throws a right and a left that Perez avoids nicely.
Donk. Tombo catches Perez right on the button with a cross.
Perez tests Tombo's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Perez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tombo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tombo's head.

Perez drops back looking for a leg! Tombo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tombo manages to kick Perez off! Perez jumps back into Tombo's guard.

Perez thows a huge punch but Tombo dodges it nicely.
Perez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tombo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Perez.
Perez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tombo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Perez seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Perez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tombo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perez on the ground.

Perez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Perez lands a nice short elbow.

Perez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tombo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Perez has cracked it and Tombo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Perez!
